Leander ISD's Vision is that "Students will exit our system with the same passion for learning they had when they entered, without economics determining success. Every Option Open."

PARENTING THE Love & Logic WAY®
Both Mary Ann Kluga, RN, MPS, LCDC, Leander ISD’s chemical abuse prevention program (CAPP) coordinator, and Sarah Romer, LPC, LMFT, CAPP counselor are facilitating the new “Parenting the Love and Logic Way®”
course during the spring of 2017. The six-week program is designed to help parents nurture responsible,
respectful, fun to be around children who will learn how to make their own choices, own their problems, think critically and logically for themselves, while parents let empathy and consequences do the teaching. The course is appropriate for parents with any aged child and any situation: home, school or even work. The instructional approach includes discussions, video clips presented by the facilitator, workbook exercises and homework to practice the "new" skills presented at each class. You do not need to have a child in Leander ISD to attend. Any one is welcome. Please click here for additional information.

A-F State Accountability Ratings
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the "What If" A-F ratings for Domains I-IV based on data from the 2015-16 school year. To reiterate the communication sent to parents from earlier in the week, these new A-F ratings are hypothetical; in August 2016, TEA released the official state accountability ratings for the 2015-16 school year in which each LISD campus and the district received a "Met Standard" rating.
